This website is dedicated to the famous Rabbit Ears Productions (or known as Rabbit Ears Entertainment on the newest website).  Rabbit Ears Productions began in 1985 with the first story "The Velveteen Rabbit," narrated by Meryl Streep.  The productions features stories that are well known around the world including Pecos Bill, The Three Little Pigs, Brer Rabbit and the Wonderful Tar Baby, The Fool and the Flying Ship, and Rumpelstiltskin and each story is narrated by a well-known celebrity such as Robin Williams, Meryl Streep, Danny Glover, Denzel Washington, Cher, and Jack Nicholson.  Also, each story features music from well known artists such as UB40, Lyle Mays, Art Lande, B.B. King, The Klezmer Conservatory Band, and Bobby McFerrin and also has beautiful illustrations from famous artists such as Henrik Drescher, Barry Jackson, Tim Raglin, David Jorgensen, and Diana Bryan.  These stories are also broken up into five series which are the Storybook Classics, which are full of favorite preschool stories such as "The Three Little Pigs.  We All Have Tales are stories from around the world such as stories from Japan, Africa, Russia, Scandanavia, England, France, and Ireland.  American Heroes and Legends are stories that are famous folktales from America such as John Henry and Anne Oakley.  The Greatest Stories Ever Told are stories from the Bible and Holiday Classics are stories about Christmas or Halloween.  Together, these three elements combine to make extremely unique stories that the whole family will greatly enjoy for many, many years! 

Rabbit Ears Productions is also famous for winning numerous awards for its unique storytelling including, the Parents' Choice Award, the Grammy Award, and New York Festivals awards and they richly deserve those honors as these stories are something that children will always cherished.  Currently, in 2006, Rabbit Ears Entertainment began returning Rabbit Ears DVDs and CDs to the market after Rabbit Ears went into a ten year hiatus after 1997.  Even after that, Rabbit Ears has remained to be one of the most beloved series ever created and has still went on winning numerous honors year after year.
